i-Options: embedded solutions for the office
i-Options is an umbrella name for a number of embedded features on the multifunctional printers (MFP) in the Office portfolio.
The following product features can be activated:
1. Web browser + Image panel + Photo registration
The web browser lets you use the MFP to directly search the internet and to print the information you need. This includes web pages but also PDF files, since an Adobe Acrobat Reader plug in is included.
The web browser can also give access to a company’s intranet site for easy document retrieval and printing.
The web browser can access the user boxes of other Océ MFPs in the network.
The image panel is a structured interface to support the scan-to workflow, splitting up the panel in an input/edit/output panel.
MyPanel is part of the PRISMAenterprise suite, but will be enhanced with a Photo Registration function when you activate the web browser via its licence key.
2. Enhanced PDF Encryption + Digital signature + Metadata
Configurable security settings for PDF and compact PDF.
Digital ID/E-mail protection certificate.
Addition of metadata to PDF and compact PDF documents.
